Deep Freeze does exactly what it promises to do. Pretty happy with latest version. Updates are super easy now.I have tried out all the other options - Drive Vaccine, Reboot Restore Rx, Toolwiz Time Freeze &have come to the conclusion that you get what you pay for. Deep Freeze is the most reliable comparitively, as I've found the other freeware to be buggy &inconsistent. I'm wiser after all the rework involved.
Good software, but expensive for what it offers. Either lower the price or improve features, as it is starting to lag behind it's competitors. Still finding updates to be a problem. Fix asap. Thawing is not only a window for viruses to come in but time-consuming as well.
I used Deep Freeze for many years and thought it was quite solid, I just prefer something free and I've been using Reboot Restore Rx, and while both are great programs it's great to see some freeware options for those like myself :)
Deep freeze works good for restoring computers on every restart. But the pricing is too high. I prefer freeware alternatives to deep freeze and steady state such as Reboot Restore Rx.
I've used DeepFreeze on many public access computers and it works great. And, yes, as the others are saying, its easy to thaw and make changes then freeze again. It does require a reboot, so its not the quickest.
I'm also planning to use their cloud version http://www.faronics.com/deep-freeze-cloud/
The software is kind of complicated, not easy to use. If it updates more frequently, computers will be safer with it.
I used Deep Freeze since 10 years ago, it’s really protective. The program is stable. It supports Win 8 now, nice update.
We have used it for a while, works great. The price is a little high, but worth it.
