I have compared many Blu-ray ripper software, but only find Pavtube Bytecopy has the function to output lossless Multi-track MKV format, so that I can backup my Blu-ray to MKV format with multiple tracks and audio streams and no quality loss.
This is one of the best Blu-ray rippers I have ever used! It works flawlessly, and has a user friendly UI!
If you want to convert a Blu-ray to a HD video and play it with HD media players like WD TV Live or NMT A-210, you can try Pavtube ByteCopy. It’s always my favorite one.
I’ve used Pavtube ByteCopy many times to convert several Blu-ray/DVD movies to MKV videos successfully, even those with several audio tracks and subtitle can be converted perfectly. It’s definitely the best ripper I’ve ever used.
When you apply Pavtube ByteCopy to copy Blu-ray Discs and DVD movies to MKV, you will find Pavtube acts similarly to MakeMKV. Better than MakeMKV, Pavtube ByteCopy can be used to convert or encode Blu-ray contents, but it can’t be used to select forced subtitles. The converting/encoding functions of ByteCopy are really helpful for HD media players. HD player doesn’t play all Blu-ray features. For example, when a BD movie is converted into MKV, WD TV Live is not able to read the Blu-ray subtitles included. ByteCopy is the only one I know that can convert Blu-ray. sup subtitle to .sub and video/audio quality is ensured at the same time. When Pavtube ByteCopy trans-codes and shrinks Blu-ray, CUDA acceleration function is automatically started if necessary.
